PCOS: Update on Diagnosis and Epidemiology

Ricardo Azziz, M.D., M.P.H., M.B.A. currently serves as Chief Executive Officer of ASRM: American Society for Reproductive Medicine. Dr. Azziz also serves on the faculties of the University of Alabama at Birmingham, the University of Albany-SUNY and UCLA, and as a fellow of the Rockefeller Institute for Government.

Previously, Dr. Azziz served as Chief Officer of Academic Health and Hospital Affairs, State University of New York (SUNY) System Administration. He was appointed as the founding Director of the SUNY Hispanic Leadership Institute in 2017 and as a Member of the New York State Governor’s Task Force on Maternal Mortality & Racial Disparities. He is a past president of Georgia Regents University, now Augusta University, in Augusta, Georgia, and former Chief Executive Officer of its health system. Dr. Azziz is an active and well published researcher in biomedical sciences, with a focus on hormonal disorders in women and change management in academia.
